REPORT OF COMMISSION CONSIDERATION BY CABINET 4, AN ARDUOUS TASK" [bx TELEGRAPH —PRESS association] WELLINGTON, Saturday During tho past few days the Cabinet lias been giving close attention to the final report of the National Expendituie Commission, especially in reference to possible savings in the Estimates. The Cabinet sat late last night and again this morning, tho Prime Minister, tho lit. lion. G. W. Forbes, stating afterwards that it had been engaged in reviewing tho Estimates in tho light of tho commission's report. Iho task had been a very arduous 0110, ho said. Ulc lcpoit would not bo published until tiio first week of tho session.
