ANNUAL GOLF BALL

NORTH SHORE CLUB One of the most successful functions held this winter on the North Shore took place at the Pirate Ship on Saturday evening, when tho North Shore Golf Club held its second annual ball. Over five hundred dancers attended, and, although the floor was crowded for dancing, the excellent organisation of tho committees, with Mrs. B. E. Goldwater and Mr. F. Hawes as joint secretaries, ensured tho enjoyment of all present. The music was supplied by hartley's Pirate Ship orchestra. Supper was served on the upper deck, where tho long tables were attractively arranged with flat bowls of violets and centre vases of daffodils. Hie committee comprised: —Mrs. Chalmers, Mrs. C.
