CAR'S CRASH INTO BANK
INJURIES TO, OCCUPANTS [ny telegraph—own correspondent] ROTORUA, Sunday. Fortunate escapes from serious injury were experienced by the occupants of a motor-car, which crashed into a bank on the Rotorua-Taupo Road, near -Waiotapu, 17 miles from Rotorua, last evening. The •vehicle' wfg wrecked almost beyond repair. t ' The car was travelling from Tanpo to Rotorua and was driven by Mr. L. Watt, of Wellington, carrying as passen-. gers Mr. Sander and Miss B. Turner, of Tauranga, and Miss P. Orr. They all received injuries and were admitted to the King George V. Hospital, Rotorua. Mr. Watt was discharged to-day, but the others, although not seriously injured, will need to remain in hospital for a few days.
