KILDARE COMPANY PROFIT OF £415 FOR HALF-YEAR The directors of Kildare Consolidated Gold Mining Company, Limited (Central Otago), report, that during the past six months steady sluicing has been maintained. Operations have been confined wholly to the lower end of the claim, where, owing to the dangerous nature of the ground, small paddocks have had to be worked. Operations for the six months ended June 30, 1932, show a net profit o£ £415. The directors decided a short time ago to cease operations at the lower end of the claim in the meantime owing to the difficulties of further economical working, and to return to the Coal Pit end. Work has not been interrupted as yet this winter, fairly open weather having been experienced so far, but water has not been as plentiful as previously on account of frost, necessitating the working of only two shifts instead of three. > The value of the- gold won for the period amounts to £1626, and this includes gold in hand, which has been valued at £231. The sum of £BOO has been placed on fixed deposit for three months, and this, together with cash in current account at the bank and in hand, givs* a credit balance of £1179. The directors desire to inform shareholders that this dividend will bo paid primarily out of accumulated funds. The capital of tho company is £700,000 in £1 shares. North Broken Hill, Limited, has sent; the following cablegram to the Stock Exchange Association : —Crosscut 2150 level; cut foot walls of lode at 248 ft. from shaft and continues in ore to 251fW Eace still in ore and footwalls normal.
