REFORM LEAGUE'S APPEAL
LAW TAKES ITS COURSE TO-DAY
(Received August IG, 11.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 16 Members of the Howard Prison Reform League to-day interviewed the Premier of New South Wales, Mr. B. S. Stevens, and sought commutation of the death sentence passed on William Moxley for the Liverpool murders, whose execution is fixed for to-morrow.
The Premier, after placing the representations before his colleagues, announced that the law must take its course.
