PRICES AT FRANKTON IMPROVEMENT FOR FAT CATTLE [from ora OWN correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday The small entry of fat cattle which cama forward at tho weekly stock sale at Frankton to-day was barely large enough to fill buyers' requirements, values generally show- ■ ing a hardening tendency. PRICES AT CAMBRIDGE : : Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Hamilton, reports : that at the Cambridge stock sale on Monday an extra heavy yarding of dairy cows and heifers and a small entry of only fair quality fat and store Cattle were offered. Good dairy cows sold at full market values at the beginning of the sale, but eased as it proceeded. Best heifers showed an improving tendency. A slight advance on lat« - rates is reported for fat cattle, due to the small entry. A fairly heavy entry of store--and weaner pigs maintained recent sales.
