MOTOR-CAR OVER BANK
RESULT OF COLLISION THREE OCCUPANTS INJURED * VEHICLE FALLS SIXTY FEET ' f, [by TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] .3$ TAIHAPE, Friday 5 As a result of ft collision at a bend oa the main road near Mr. E. W. Spoonn'a , residence, about miles- from Taihape, |l| this morning, a car driven by Mr. W. H. Martin, of Taihape, went over a bank §§f about 60ft. in height, turning three complete somersaults before coming to rest on its hood. The two passengers in the car, Mrs. H. Collerton ' and Miss Collerton, were both £ injured, the former receiving a severe cut on the arm and the latter a deep cut oa .rfl the leg. The driver suffered a cut on tlio temple. All three occupants escaped ¥ through a broken window when the car ' came to a standstill. The other motor-car ..involved in thi) f collision was driven by Mr. Ivan Alfred Jacobsen, of Taihape. This car waa * 1 brought to a standstill on the edge of thg road with the two front wheel;; actually over the bank. Mr. Martin was travelling toward Tai, hape while Mr. Jacobsen was going in the opposite direction when the collisioa occurred.
