WHITE CABBAGE PICKLES.
Cut finely a large, hard white cabbage, six onions, and sprinkle with salt and stand 24 hours. Strain and boil slowly 20 minutes in a quart of vinegar. Then mix together half a cup of flour, two and a-half cups of sugar, two tablespoonfuls of mustard, two tablespoonfuls curry powder, one pint of vinegar. Boil all together five minutes, and bottle.
