GOOD FEATURES
Good features and the best complexion is of little value when the eyes are dull and heavy. They mar the most beautiful face. Eyes strained from exposure to sun or wind or close work may be relieved by bathing them with boracic acid and water. An eye bath is the best thing to use, and the daily use will strengthen the eyes as well as relieve the burning sensation so often caused by wind. Hot salt compresses are another remedy that will remove the tired, drawn appearance round the eye. Add one teaspoonful of common salt to half a glass of hot water, then saturate two pads of cotton wool in this, squeezing out excess water. Place these over your closed eyes, and as they begin to cool replace with fresh hot pads. Aftefr several applications, apply a nourishing creain round the eyes and massage it into the skin gently, beginning at the bridge of the nose and gently drawing the finger-tips outward over the upper lid.
