YESTERDAY'S WEATHER
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland.—The weather yesterday was fine but overcast throughout the day, with a slight breeze from the south. The barometer rose slightly, and' at midnight W a9 steady at 29.75 in. Wellington.—The weather was fine yesterday with a good deal of sunshine, although a cold wind blew from the south. Light rain-fell in the evening. Christchurch. —The weather was unsettled again yesterday. A light southwesterly wind was blowing and the maximum temperature was 44 "idegrees. Th® barometer recorded 30.06 in. at 5 p.m. and was falling. Dunedin.—The weather yesterday wa» dull and unsettled, with rain in the early morning. The wind was light, from th# north-east. The barometer showed little movement and registered 30.25 in. evening.
