WEST END BOWING CLUB
TROPHIES PRESENTED There was an attendance of fully 300 at tlio prize night of the West End Rowing Chih last evening. The clubhouse was decorated with greenery arid with tho club colours. Mr. A. M. Paterscn, patron of the club, was chairman, and among those present were the president, Mr. A. C. Norden, Captain H. H. Sergeant, .'Mr. J. A. Mackenzie, Mr. J. H. Bigelow and Mr. W. H. Conway, all of whom have been prominently connected with the club for a number of years. Representatives from tho Auckland Rowing Association and from other clubs were also present. The presentation of trophies won during tho year was interspersed with musical items, and the evening was concluded with supper and dancing.
