ASSAULT AT A DANCE
BLOWS STRUCK WITH POKER ONE MONTH'S IMPRISONMENT [nV TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday A shop assistant, Frank Mitchell, who was charged with assaulting Leslie Gordon Taylor, at Hornby, during a dance, was sentenced to ono month's imprisonment by Mr. E. I). Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court to-day. The sub-inspector of police said accused hit Taylor with a poker two or threo times. Accused was under the influence of liquor.
