Neale, secretary of the Auck-. land' Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed to represent the New Zealand branches of the Economic Society of Australia and New Zealand at the a:imual meeting of the central council ot the to be held in Sydney next month. He will leave on August 8 and will be absent for three weeks. He will also visit , the Chambers of Commerce of Sydney ' and Melbourne. While in Australia Dr. Neale will attend the biennial meeting of the Australasian Association for the Advancement of Science- and will read a paper on the depression as it affects New Zealand.
