Mollison as aids to the transatlantic return flight on which he proposes to August 8. Tho flares will be detachable, and will be dropped from the wing-tips of the aeroplane. They will ignite on reaching tho water and enable the pilot to check tho strength and direction of the wind and correct his course. A warning note will be sounded by wireJess from Cape Race day and night. Mr Mollison's directional wireless will receive the call and guide him to his destination. Tho airman's fiancee, Miss Amy Johnson, has bought the Moth machine which Captain Broad flew in the round-Britain race for the King's Cup. The marriage between Mr. Mollison and Miss Johnson will take place at a registry offico at the end of this month, and they will spend their honeymoon in Thanet. Mr. Mollison intends to make the return Atlantic flight in the old clothes he wore on the Australia to London and London t-o Cape flights. He says they are getting a -bit- ragged, but be rather fancies them for tho greatest adventure of all.
