PREFECTS' ANNUAL DANCE

Blue and gold, the colours of the Auckland Grammar School, were used as the colour scheme of the decorations at, the Symondsville Studio last evening, when (he prefects of the Auckland Grammai School held their annual dance. Miniature shields, with the lion rampant, were placed at intervals about the side walls and below these clusters of blue and gold balloons looked most effective. The dance music was played by Parker s orchestra. A demonstration of the tango and quickstep was given by Miss Peggy Upton and Mr. Owen. Supper was served downstairs, where the tables were arranged with Iceland poppies and asparagus fern. Among those present were Mrs. H. J. D.
