A cricket match between the AllIndia clever and Lancashire was commenced at Manchester on Saturday. The county declared its first innings closed at 442 for five wickets (E. Tyldesley 196, Watson 142). India's first innings realised 204 (Colah 122). Bulterworth took six wickets for 85. Following on, the Indians lost four wickets for 157.
