INTERNATIONAL BANK'S VIEW. LAUSANNE FUNCTIONS ACCEPTED BASLE, July 11. The Bank for International Settlements has accepted the functions imposed by the Lausanne agreements. A statement by tho bank upholds the gold standard as the best available monetary mechanism to facilitate the flow of world trade.
