Auckland. —Fine weather prevailed ves-" terday, but the sky was overcast and threatening. The. wind was light southwest. After rising since Sunday the barometer was steady at 29.95iu. during ths afternoon and evening. Wellington.—The weather was beautifully fine yesterday, with a very light wind from the north. The night was calm. Chrisfchurch.—After a severe frost We sky was cloudless yesterday, with a lifh variable breeze. The maximum temperature was 51 degrees. The barometer had little movement and recorded 29.88 in. a 5 p.m. •• 'o Dunedin.— Fine weather, with more su • shine than clond, prevailed yesterday, _ » a strong south-west wind made conditio very cold in the shade. The baron* showed little movement and register 29.95 in. in the evening.
