CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH,

Aucklmd.—The weather was unsettled during the week-end. The wind was light and varied between south-east and southwest. Frequent light showers were experienced during Saturday afternoon an J evening and cloudy conditions yesterday morning were followed by a sunny afternoon.
