MOTOR-CAR CAPSIZED.
DRIVER ESCAPES INJURY. STATIONARY CAR STRUCK. A fortunate escape from injury was experienced by Miss Olive McFarland, of 32, Station Road, Avondale, when a motor-car she was driving capsized after colliding with a stationary car near the intersection of Great North and Seaview Roads, Avondale, about 3.15 p.m. on Saturday. When the car had been righted, Miss MpFarland was found to have escaped with a shaking. The car driven by Miss McFarland was travelling toward Avondale. The occupants of the second car, which had been drawn up at the roadside, Miss Dorothy Ingram, of Gilfillan Street, Blockhouse Bay, and her little niece, aged two, also escaped injury. Both cars were damaged.
