ATHENIAN CLUB.
There were many members present at the Athenian Club on Saturday evening. Tho title given to the programme was " The Prison Night." The stage was decorated to represent a prison scene and the programme included numbers given by Miss S. Stacpoole, Miss Walker, Mr. Harris and Mr. McSkimming. Tho hostess for the evening was Mrs. .Hannah Baghurst, who wore a frock of cherry georgette and white fur-trimmed jacket. She was assisted by her daughter, Miss Gladys Baghurst. The danco music was supplied by Mr. Coglan's orchestra. Among those present were: —Mrs. D. Middleton, Mrs. V. H.
