MORRINSVILLE BAND.
[FROM Oim OWN' CORRESPONDENT.] MORRINSVILLE. Saturday. There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Morrinsville Municipal Band held last evening. The annual report stated that the year had been fairly successful from a playing point of view, hut financially ifc was the worst on record, the band working account showing a loss of £39. The band earnings during the year totalled only £l2. The election of officers resulted:—Committee. Messrs. F. Pickett, A. J. Skinner, D: Wilson and H. J. Barford (representing the Borough Council), W. Reason,- P. Scotts and Renshaw; bandmaster, Mr. G. Large; sergeant, Mr. 0- Renshaw; corporal, Mr. P. Scotts; lance-corporal, Mr. C. Large; librarian, Mr. I. Reed; secretary and treasurer, Mr. M. Reason; auditor, Mr. N. T. Osborne.
