PAKURANGA HUNT.
GOOD SPORT ON SATURDAY.
A good day's sport, with plenty of jumping, was enjoyed by members of the Pakuranga Hunt on Saturday, when a number of hares were put up and one was killed. Hounds met at Kelly's Corner, Papptoefoe, and a liaro wan put tip almost immediately on Mr. A. Swaffield's property. A good run. with many jumps, followed, tho hare running toward Redoubt Road and then doubling back. Hounds killed after a run of about 2J' miles. After Mr. W. Watson's farm had been worked another hare was nut up. giving a good run toward Redoubt 'Road, where it escaped. There were a number of other short runs during the afternoon until about 3 p.m.. when a heavy eliower resulted in a cessation of hunting.
