FOOTBALL MISHAPS.
PLAYER'S LEG FRACTURED. Slight concussion was received by two footballers on Saturday afternoon. Eoy Bright, aged 20, of 18, Shaw Street, Sandringham, and Douglas Munns, aged 18, of 58, Cook Street, City, were both admitted to the Auckland Hospital. Their condition last evening was not serious. Kenneth Gordon Scott, aged 21, of Ohaupo, and John Dempsey, aged 19, of Huia Street, Hamilton, were admitted to tho Waikato Hospital on Saturday evening suffering from concussion received in matches at Te Awamutu and Hamilton respectively. Neither is in a serious condition. , A Press Association message from Greymouth states that Donald Minchin received a fracture of the leg while playing Rugby football at Kumara on Saturday.
