LIVERPOOL MURDERS.
MQXLEY'S APPEAL HEARD. FRESH WITNESSES TO BE CALLED. (Received July 2. 12.45 a.m.) SYDNEY. July 1. William Moxluy, who is under sentence of death for (lie double murder of Mr. Wilkinson and Miss Denzel at Liverpool, conducted his own appeal before the I'ull Court today against the jury's verdict. His counsel, by consent, withdrew from tlie proceedings. Moxley, in an impassioned, outburst, appealed for justice. 110 asked tile Court to hear the evidence of three doctors who had :not been heard at his trial.
The Court adjourned the appeal for three weeks for that purpose.
