RESEARCH SHIP'S VISIT.
VOYAGE OF DISCOVERY 11.
DUE AT AUCKLAND.ON MONDAY.
The. research ship- Discovery 11. will arrive, at Auckland at daybreak on Monday, according to her wireless advice to the New Zealand f?hipping Company. The vessel is classed as a British survey ship and she is cloing whaling research work in the Antarctic. By the time the voyage has been completed she will hav® circumnavigated the glooe in the .Antarctic regions, with occasional calls at southern ports to refit and take on stoies. It is expected that the Discovery 11. will be in Auckland for about five weeks, during which time she will be clocked in connection with her overhaul and refit. After the usual medical inspection in the stream on Monday morning she will berth at Central Wharf.
