JEWELLERY VALUED AT £IOO.
HOLE CUT THROUGH DOOR.

Burglars last evening stole jewellery valued at £IOO from the premises of Mr. F. B. Lane, Rangiora, forcing the back door and cutting a wido hole in a communication door, which was barred.
TOBACCO AND CIGARETTES. TE KUITI PREMISES ENTERED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWif CORRESPONDENT.] TE KUITI, Friday. Early on Thursday morning Mr. W. McColl's fancy goods and tobacconist's shop was broken into and goods valued at £3O and the contents of the till, 15s, were stolen. An attempt had bee:i made to enter the shop, at the back, but this failed, and' the thief then forced the padlock at the front door. The shelves were stripped of tobacco and cigarettes and a quantity of fancy goods was taken. Three trunks were stolen and were used for the removal of the goods.
