CARD AFTERNOON.
A most successful bridge and live-hun-dred afternoon was held by Mrs. H. A. Robertson at her homo in Mangere on Saturday, in aid of tho funds of tho Onehunga Croquet Club. The hostess received her guests in a frock of wine satin beaute. An enjoyable timo was spent in delightful surroundings, the lounge and reception room being decorated with bowls of crimson poinsettia, cyclamen and maidenhair fern. The prizes for bridge were won by Mrs. W. S. Court and Mrs. Davenport, and the fivehundred prizes bv Mrs. Solomon and Mrs. Jutfc. At the close of the afternoon Mrs. J. I>. Crawford, president of tho club, thanked Mrs. Robertson for the happy time, spent. Among those present were: —Mrs. Wallace, Mrs. Kirkwood, Mrs. Patterson, Mrs. Court, Mrs. Gill, Mrs. Cowell, Mrs. Warren, Mrs. Kerr, Mrs. Davenport, Mrs. Koflny, Mrs. Warnock, Mrs. 11. Bray, Mrs. Foster. Mrs. Petchell, Mrs. Collin. Mrs. L. Bray, Mrs. MfKenzie, Mrs. Neill, Mrs. Parr, Mrs. McKendrick, Mrs. Yella, Mrs. Ilosking, Mrs. Hickman, Mrs. Craig, Mrs. Harrison, Mrs. Broun, Mrs. George, Mrs. Burgess, Mrs. Winton, Mrs. M. J. Moore, Mrs. Jutt, Mrs. J. Clarkson, Mrs. Maiden, Mrs. House, Mrs. W. R. Knight, Mrs. 11. Clarkson, Mrs. Tlenwood, Mrs. Soloman, Miss Simo and Miss Knight.
