On Wednesday night I the premises of Ned Nixon, tobacconist, : -were entered-; and razors, shaving brashes, tobacco and £4 from the till were stolen, t Last night two men with a lorry were ! surprised at midnight at a coal and wood yard at Springvale. Later Mark Twain Sheeby and Raymond Victor Chad wick were arrc?:ed and charger! with the theft of firewood from the premises of Ben Bullock and i from the Westport Coal Company, j Senior-Sergeant McLean intimated that I & number of charges was pending against | accused, who were remanded for a week. Firewood had been missed in large quant;, iics from fir-pots lately.
