THREE MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. [TIY TELEGRAPH. —FREPS ASSOCIATION.] NELSON, Friday. Breaches of the Bankruptcy Act were admitted by Leslie Arthur Stringer, wl, was sentenced to three months' imprisoi. merit in the Magistrate's Court to-day. The magistrate, Mr. T. E. Maunsell, said accused had carried on his business in a systematically dishonest way, and if probation were granted people in bankruptcy in which such a position was disclosed it would mean that "every dog could have one bite."
