Tho To' Awamutu Jersey Club held a successful field day at Mr. H. Allen's homestead, Kihikihi, on Monday, when, in spito of tho showery weather, there was a * large attendance, Tho demonstrator was Mr. S. Dale, of Hamilton. Tho judging competitions resulted:— Schoolboys' written estimate of a cow: R. Whyte, 1; D. Howie, 2; A. H. Maunder, 3. Open judging (first four of nino heifers): J. Coonibes, 1; IT. E. Fockc, 2; ,T.
