AUCKLAND CLUB'S MEETING.
OFFICERS FOR ENSUING YEAR
The annual meeting of members of the Auckland Bowling Club was held in Ihe club's pavilion last evening. The retiring president, Mr. A. G. Graham, presided over an attendance _of 70 members.

J. Campbell, K. 8. Macky. N. McDougall, W. M. Matheson, G. B. Osmond and R. TraceyJnglis; ground committee, Messrs. T. Kirk, W. Lenderyou, G. J. Mackay; match committee, Messrs. D. Campbell, C. G. Malier, W. M. Matheson; delegates to Auckland Centre, Messrs. D. Campbell, S. Coldicutt and G. J. Mackay; club coaches, Messrs. L. W. Bourke, A. D. Gray, C. The prizes won during the past season were presented to the winners by the incoming president. Professor Maxwell Walker presented the club .with an enlarged photograph of, the winning rink at the last New Zealand championship tournament nt Christchurch. Mr. A. Jl. Keesing presented the club with a coloured engraving of Admiral Drake in the Historic game of bowls at Plymouth Hoe. Messrs. A. H. Keesing and J. V. Dingle were elected life members and were presented with gold badges by the president. On the motion of Profensor Maxwell Walker it was decided to institute a rink competition to be played only on Wednesdays. A miniature pennant won by Dr. Hardie Neil and Professor llaxwell Walker in the pairs tournament at Rotorua was presented to the club by the winners. Tho past president, Mr. A. G. Graham, commented oil the very fine spirit in the club and paid a special tribute to the assistance of his officers. On assuming office, the new president, Mr. 'Hacket, thanked tho club for the honour conferred upon him and laid particular stress on tho necessity for members to take a hopeful outlook of things. He requested members to give the same loyal support as in the past.
AUCKLAND CENTRE'S BENEFIT. The Auckland Bowling Centre's tourney in aid of the unemployed fund will be held to-day. Players in section A of the tournament will compete at the Epsom green instead of at Carlton, as previously arranged.
EDENDALE CLUB
The report presented at the annual general meeting of the Edendale Bowling Club disclosed a satisfactory position, although the club had not escaped the effects fii the depression. Sympathetic referenco was made to the loss the club had suffered by the death of Mr. W. Learning. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year Patron, Mr. F. Bluck; president, Mr. J. Brown; vice-president, Mr. J. Annison; secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. McConnell; assistant treasurer, Mr. H. Fielding; committee. Messrs. R. Smith, G. Greenwood, D. McCarthy, \V. Brownett; match committee, Messrs. L. Jackson, J. Maud, W. Brownett; delegates, Messrs. J. Brown. J. Mslild; green superintendent. Mr. •J. Annison; coach, Mr. J. Brown; umpires, Messrs. J. James. \V. Brownett.
The president presented certificates to the winners and runners-up of the club competitions as follows Club champion, L. S. Francis, runner-up, E. McConnell; junior champion, E. McConnell, runner-up, T. Anderson; handicap singles, E. McConnell, runner-up, J. Brown; cup pairs, C. Addison and W. Walters, runners-up, O. Hill and J. Butler; first-year champion, D. McCarthy; percentage fours. T. Ball, J. Annison. G. Greenwood. W. Brownett. Several new members were elected, and the outlook for the coming season is bright. It was decided lo again enter the centre's pennant competition.

OTOROHANGA, Tuesday
The annual meeting ,of the Otoroh-imga Bowling Club was held. laßt evening. The report stated that the membership had been the' highest on record; and a, very successful season had been experienced. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. J?. Green; president, Mr. P. H. Rowe; senior vice-president, Mr. W. Bluck; vice-presidents,, Messrs. "\Y. Tozer and Dr. Gilberd; secretary, Mr. H. W. Atkinson; committee. Messrs. H. C. Alexander, R. Bell, C. V. Landman and M. Pratt; green superintendent, Mr G. L. Jackson; match committee, Messrs. G. H. Fry, A. Hawthorn and Alexander; delegales to South Auckland Bowling Association, Messrs. Rowe and Bluck; auditor, Mr. E. T. Gorton.
