COMBINED CLUBS' EVENTS. The Technical College Old Boys' Athletic Club unci the Calliope Harriers lie <1 a combined run at Birkenhead on Saturday, when about 70 runners took part. The course iv a a over 10 miles of rough country, which was heavy after rain. During the run rain act in. with the result that the relay run and the run-in were abandoned. After the rain the Technical Club was entertnined bv the Calliope Club nt afternoon tea Mr. Patterson, president of the Calliope Club, welcomed the visitors, and Mr C Chambers, vice-president of tie Technical Old Boys' Club. _ thanked the Calliope Club for its hospitality.
