ROAD RACES DECIDED. ■ The Auckland Amateur Cycling Club conducted its longest road race to date this season over two laps of the New Lynn to Swnnson and return course, a distance of 30 miles, on Saturday. In spite of very heavy showers of rain and hail there was a field of 20 staiters. Results were as follows:—IT. Enderby (7m 455), 95m 555, 1; Vi r . Pinker (5m 30s), 93m 425. 2: B. Barry (!:m 30s), 97m 3. MANUKAU AMATEUR CLUB. Junior and senior sealed handicap events were held by the Manukau Amateur Cycling Club on Saturday at Avondale South. Following were the results::— Junior Race.—L. R. Jepson. 13m 435, 1; E. R. Hansen, 13m 455, 2; E. Raper, 14m 12s, 3. Senior Race.—A. W. D. Robinson, scr. 1: E. D. Andrews, 455, 2: F. It. Markham, 3m 103, 3. AUCKLAND CLUB'S RACE. The Auckland Cycle Club's 1G miles' road race at Tamaki on Saturday afternoon was held in wet weather, and a wind, which reached gale force at times, hampered the riders considerably. The placed riders were: —F. E. Lowndes. (9m 15s), 53m 575, 1: C. Rae, 4m 30s, 2; P. Bicknell, 5m 455, 3; L. Tomkins. 5m 30s, 4. Fastest time was registered by K. MathieFon in 43m 48s.
