MOTOR-CYCLE RACING.
EVENTS AT ISLE OF MAN. NEW DOMINION REPRESENTATIVE Instructions to substitute S. Moses, of Auckland, as one of the New Zealand representatives in the forthcoming Tourist Trophy races at the Isle of Man, in place of -A. Mattson, also of Auckland, who was injured in practice, have been sent by cablegram to the English Autocycle Union by the New Zealand organisation. The other Dominion representative is Howard Tolley, of Palmerston North. Although Mattson was not injured seriously when lie fell while practising on the notoriously difficult course, he will be unable to ride, and it is extremely fortunate that Moses happens to be at the Isle of Man at present. He left New Zealand at the same time as Mattson and Tolley, intending to visit England on business and also to watch the races in which lio will now lako part. Mosps won the first Dominion tourist trophy race held at Waiheke Island last year, and rode second to Mattson in this year's event. He is considered one of the most capable road riders in Auckland.
