WEEK-END ATTRACTIONS.
A VARIED PROGRAMME. SUMMER AND WINTER GAMES. The programme of sporting attractions for the week-end covers a wide variety of interest. An aerial display, similar to the one held last Saturday, but including new and different items, will be held at Alexandra Park this afternoon. 1 lie North Shore Motor-Cycle Club lias arranged a meeting at Henning's Speedway. Mangere. Outboard motor-boat championships will be decided at the Panmure Basin. The yachting season will be continued with several club cruising and harbour races. Several competitions and matches will be conducted bv golf clubs and bowling clubs. The final of the fifth grade of the Auckland Cricket Association's competition will be decided at. Eden Park between Mount Albert and Comrades A. House matches will also be played. Practices will bo held by severaj Rugby football clubs, and friendly matches have been arranged by the Association football authorities.
A 20 miles road race will be run by the Auckland Cycling Club to Te Atatu, while tho Auckland Amateur Club and the Manukau Amateur Club will also hold road races. The Lynndale and Ellerslio Athletic Clubs havo arranged meetings and the Calliope Harriers Club will hold a run.
