ROTORUA EXPRESSES.
ALTERATION OF STOPS. OKOROIRE ELIMINATED. "T I [nr TELEGRAPH. —SPECIAL REPORTER. "| WELLINGTON, Friday. A slight alteration in the schedule of the Rotorua expresses to provide for a stop at Tirau and the elimination of the stop at Okoroire was announced by the Railway Department to-day. The reason given for" the "change is thai the stop at Tirau will serve a larger number of travellers. Originally stopj were made at both places, which are only two miles apart, but when the new timetable was inaugurated last September, the Tirau stop was eliminated. The change now announced will become effective on April 4.
