YOUNG CYCLIST HURT.
SEVERE HEAD INJURIES. Severe injuries to the head were received by a schoolboy, Albert Tobin, aged 15, when ho was thrown from his bicycle in King Street, Archhill, at about 8 a.m. yesterday. Tho accident was caused by the driving chain of the bicycle becoming dislodged, the boy being thrown over tlie handlebars of the machine and on to the road. The St. John ambulance was summoned and the injured lad, who resides in Ivanhoe Road, Western Springs, was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital. His condition ig not regarded as being very serious.
