FINAL WOOL SALE.

AUCKLAND AUCTION TO-DAY. OFFERING OF 23,130 BALES. The third pnd final wool sale to be held at Auckland this season will be held in the Town Hall concert Chamber at. 4 p.m. today, the offering comprising 23,130 bales, compared with 16,959 bales brought forward at the March sale last year. The auction will be continued this evening and is expected to extend until after nino o'clock. Buyers representing English, French, German, and other Continental firms, Japanese and local woollen manufacturers, commenced to inspect the clip on Thursday and yesterday continued tho work, which will be completed at noon to-day. Tho greater part of the wool is this season's clip and includes much rough or coarse wool. More than half of the offering is crossbred, halfbred predominating in the remainder. The order of sale arid tho total number of bales to be offered by the different firms are as follows, the auctioneers' names being given in parentheses:— Dalgety and Company, Limited (Mr. E. L. Salmon), 6708 bales; Abraham and Williams, Limited (Mr. E. H. Binney), 2944 bales; Alfred Buckland and Sons, Limited (Mr. C. G. Brookes), 1489 bales; Farmers' Co-ope.raf.ive Auctioneering Company in conjunction with the North Auckland Farmers' Co-operative, Limited (Mr. B. J. Marquot), 6889 bales; and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Company, Limited (Mr. J. 8. Duke), 5100 bales.
