YOUNG LADY JERSEY.
WORLD TOUR HONEYMOON. The least romantic of Australians have felt a flutter of interest in the young Earl of Jersey and his Australian bride (formerly Miss Richards, of New South Wales), who are visiting Australia on their honeymoon, writes an Australian.
" I met the carl and countess on the Strathnaver, at the Outer Harbour, and found no difficulty in imagining how easily the youthful earl had fallen in love with the little Australian. She is delightfully pretty, with dark eyes and honey-coloured hair, and wears her simple and charming clothes to perfection. To Australian eyes her make-up was rather startling, for her lips were frankly vermilion, but the fresh, soft skin really needed 110 such adornment, and it was scarcely in keeping with her gentle and unassuming personality. t Both were very pleasapt and charming, and Lord Jersey instantly won all hearts by his boyish friendliness and his smiling pride in his beautiful little wife. It is his first long voyage, and he is bent on seeing everything that is to be seen. He said that ho had not read a great deal about other countries, " but i have seen travel films, and you know granny " (the Dowager Countess of Jersey) " is a very clever woman, and she's told me all about them." The two will visit the countess' father at Cootarnundra* Station, New South Wales, before going to America on what is to be a world tour honeymoon.
