YACHTING.
POWER BOAT ASSOCIATION. MY GIRL TROPHY HANDICAP. The New Zealand Power-Boat Association will hold a series of races for cruisers and speedboats this afternoon. The course will be from starting line, off King's Wharf, round compass dolphin in Judge's Bay, keeping outside mark off tide deflector, thence back round mark off wharf, twice round, keeping turning marks on starboard. Two races will be held for cruisers and two for speedboats. The entries and handicaps for the My Girl trophy, starting at 2.30 p.m. are as follows :—Ta sman, scr: Nautilus, 3m ss: Ramona, 3m 40s; Crusader, 6m 15s: Wailani, 7m ss; Edwina, 13m ss. The same boats will also take part in the race for the Kermath Cup. The entries for the speedboat events include Hobo, Spot, Chris Craft, and the new boat built by Messrs. Lane. OTAHUHU SAILING CLUB. , The Otaliuhu Sailing Club will hold its annual regatta on the Tamaki River this afternoon. All events will start and finish off the clubhouse. The entries for the yacht race are as follows:—Surprise, Wayward. Aurora, Valrosa, Waitea, Ventura, Magic, Ben Machree. Rival, Omaki, Sea Sprite, Rawhiti. Wyoming, Tui, Spindrift. In addition to the yacht race, swimming dinghy, canoe, and model yacht events will be held.
