NEW ZEALANDERS AT HOME.
[FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] LONDON. Feb. 16. Lord Forbes and Sir Charles Fergusson have been appointed Chief Scouts Commissioners for Scotland for the Dov Scouts Association. § Mr. G. Seymour Howard (Whangarei) has been spending the winter with his parents in the South of England. He ' s now living at Bournemouth. Mr. Howard, who arrived in England in October, has 110 present intention of returning to Zealand. Dr. Athol H. Farkcs (Auckland), who was appointed junior resident medical officer at the Worcester General Hospital in September, has now been appointed to the senior position, and im* mediately takes up his new duties. W. H. Parkes is making her headquarters at Worcester to be near her son. From this ancient cathedral city she is able to enjoy many trips to other cathedral cities, as well as to places renowned for their beauty and for features of local interest. Her son is able to accompany her on hH off-duty times, arid, travelling by_ car, they are able to make namerous excursion* to well-known centres within a 60-niili radius.
