EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS.
MISSIONS OF PREPARATION. A mission in preparation for the forthcoming Eucharistic Congress, to be hel<3 in Dublin this year, is being conducted in the Sacred Heart Church, Ponsonby. by the Rev. Fathers McCarthy and O'Leary, of the Marist Order, for the women of the parish. The attendance has been over 700 at the evening services and the majority of these have received Holy Communion in the morning. The mission will be concluded with the ceremonies of renewal of baptismal vows and the imparting of the papal blessing tomorrow afternoon at three o'clock. Bishop Liston will preside. A mission for the men of the parish will be opened to-mor-row evening and will continue through the week. " Similar missions are being conducted at St. Patrick's and St. Benedict's by the missioners of the Vincentian and Redemptorist orders respectively.
