REFUSAL IN WELLINGTON. CITY COUNCIL'S DECISION. [BY telegraph.—press association.] "WELLINGTON, Friday. The City Council last evening refused permission to a local picture theatre to show pictures on Good Friday. Ths Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, said the council had declined to allow theatres to open on Good Friday for the past two years and the decision was reaffirmed by nine votes to six.
