HOWICK BEATS PAPATOETOE. Croonet matches played between memhe'-s of Fowick mid Papatoetoe Clubs resulted in n win for the former by 10 points. Howick thus holds the cup for the season. MATCH AT PAEROA. [FROM OCR own cor respondent.] PAEROA, Friday. A croquet match between the Frankton Junction Ladies' Club and the Paeroa Ladies' Club was played this week at Paeroa. The match resulted in a win for Paeroa by 5 games to 1. The following are the results, with the Paeroa ladies mentioned first in each case:—Mrs. Hales and Mrs ; Gibb defeated Mrs. Scott and Mrs. McXamara. Mrs. Little and Mrs. Frnser defeated Mrs. Reece and Mrs. Heppleston. Mis. S. Silcock and Miss Dawb"r defeated Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Morrison. Mrs. Little and Mrs. Edwards defeated Mrs. Scott and Mrs. McXamara, Mrs. Barclay and Miss ■Pawher defeated Mrs. IJenpleston and Mrs. Reece. Mrs. Innes and Mrs. Lamb lost to Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Morrison.
