DANGEROUS CYCLE RIDING.

Sir, —I would like to ask all the boyg and young men who go about on their motor-cycles just to think before they go on a journey, however short, if anything should go wrong with the light or a blowout occur when speeding like they do. "Cheerio, Mam. I will go steady." I know there will fce many like my own boy, who leaves home with these words. If "some of these young men could walk into a home when the news comes through: "Come to hospital; your son seriously hurt; crashed."' - Two o'clock in the morning, rushing to hospital, to be told no hope whatever; seeing your son, who only a few hours before had been full of life and fun, so seriously hurt about the face and head that he could scarcely be recognised. Think again, young men, the days and nights we have been waiting and praying for our son to be spared to us. Take a. bit Jonger for your trips: see to the light if travelling at night; do noi think there is anything in trying to break a record or beat your mates. When leaving on a journey put safety first; you will get there just the same. I appeal to you as a. mother. Lancashire Lass.
