A SPLENDID STORY.
A story of great brilliance conceived by a master mind, entitled " The Black Shadow," commences in the columns of the Supplement to-day. The story deals with a young doctor who becomes involved in love and adventure at the same time. Ilis sister Patricia also finds romance in tho same adventure. Other characters that inspire the story with mystery and romance are brilliantly portrayed.
In Captain " Jimmy " Smith, a crippled ex-officer, who guards tho secret of his parentage until the surprising disclosure is opportune, is a character that involves tho story with rare and vivid beauty. Consequently readers who pine for something fresh and revivifying in mystery, love and intrigue, will find all three in " Tho Black Shadow."
