CONFERENCE CONCLUDES. DRAFT OF APPOINTMENTS. [BV TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The conference of the Methodist Church concluded to-day. A resolution was passed expressing sympathy with the proposals for Church union, and declaring the readiness of the Methodist Church to enter into consultation with the sister Churches with a view to finding a way for immediate cooperation, and also to explore the possibilities of ultimate union.

Bellhouse; Solomon Islands, Rev. J. F. Goldie.
