ELECTION OF OFFICERS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] MASTERTON, Friday. The annual conference of the Gas Institute of New Zealand concluded to-day. The following officeis were elected:— President, Mr. W. B. O'Toole (Jnvercargill); vice-president, Mr. Harry Atkinson (Auckland); secretary, Mr. A. Morrie Taylor (Timaru); treasurer, ZMr. G. A. Macfarlano (Christchurch); council, Messrs. J. Learmouth (Masterton), J. Lowo (Auckland), L. Pickering (Napier), H. Appleyard (Lower Hutt) ; lion, auditor, Mr. J. J. Hurley (Christchurch); trustee, Mr. F. W. J. Belton (Christchurch).
