WEDDINGS.

SMITH—BREWER. The wedding took place on Saturday morning at St. Andrew's Church, Cambridge, of Miss Ona Brewer, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Brewer, of Cambridge, and Mr. Robert Smith, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Smith, of Auckland. Tho bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a graceful gown of rich ivory satin with cowl neckline, and long, close-fitting sleeves. Her white Bangkok hat was trimmed with flat feather trimming on the brim, and her beautiful bouquet was of white tuber-roses and maidenhair fern. Tho bridesmaid, Miss Jean Brewer, wore a frock of powder-blue ninon, with hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of blue delphiniums. Mr. Cecil Perkins, of Auckland, was best man. After tlie ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mrs. Brewer receiving her guests in a suit of navy georgette, with hat to tone. Her bouquet was of pink carnations. Mrs. Smith, mother of the bridegroom, wore a frock of petunia georgette and lace, and carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted dahlias. LOCK—McLENNAN. A most attractive wedding was celebrated in the Papakura Presbyterian Church on Wednesday afternoon, when Ann, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. McLennan, was married to Dr. G. W. Lock, of Papakura, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Lock, ot Nelson. The church was decorated by friends of the bride, and the Rev. J. H. Bredin officiated. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a graceful, long-fitting frock of ivory satin beaute and lace. She carried a sheaf of lilies. Her veil and train were of Brussels net. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Hilda Percy and Miss Bertha Wyllie. They were dressed alike in close-fitting frocks of shrimp georgette and lace, the lace forming small trains. Their Bangkok hats were tilted to one side, and they wore lace mittens to match. The little flower-girl was Maureen Rickards, who was in a long frilled Victorian frock of shrimp georgette and poke bonnet. Each carried bouquets to tone. The bridegroom was attended by his .brother, Mr. A. Lock, as best man, and Mr. F. Callas as groomsman. Miss Cooper played the wedding music. A reception was held at St. Anne's Tea Gardens, Mrs. A. R. McLennan receiving her guests in a frock of navy marocain and a Bangkok hat to match. Sho carried a bouquet of blue delphiniums. Mrs. W. Lock, mother of the bridegroom, wore a black marocain costume and ermine fur. Her hat was of black coarse straw with an allover brim, and she carried a bouquet of red Banksia roses. A large number of toasts was proposod and honoured.
